Here are the guidelines concerning Campaign Week:

Week #1: Nominations
~ Any eligible person may nominate themselves and will require one other nomination from an HTM student (a total of two nominations) via e-mail to htmsa@uoguelph.ca.
~ This will run from Monday, March 5th, 2012 until Friday, March 9th, 2012.
Week #2: Campaigns & Speeches
~ No slanderous remarks are to be present on any campaign materials.
~ The presiding president, Lauren Zimbalatti must approve all campaign material for content. For example, facebook pages, posters, events, etc.
~ All campaign materials must be removed within 24 hours after the conclusion of campaign week.
~ It will be the responsibility of the candidates to attend any classes to promote their campaign at the permission of the professor at least 24 hours before the scheduled class. There is a maximum of three classrooms announcements.
~ This will run from Saturday, March 10th, 2012 until Friday, March 16th, 2012.
Week #3: Voting
~ The president and official election contact person will be responsible for the voting process, which will consist of an online survey via CourseLink.
~ Students will have a determined amount of time (24 hours) to complete the ballot.
~ The official election contact person and current president will review the results within 24 hours of the voting conclusion. One faculty member will view results before the students are contacted.
~ If a candidate does not follow the outlined election procedures, he/she risks removal from the election by a two thirds (2/3) vote from the Executive council.
~ Voting will take place on Monday, March 19th, 2012.
